The 1986 Great Escape
The story of how a grey office in Stockholm and two tickets to the sun created the visual manifesto for our 2026 return.
In the heart of a suffocating February in 1986, the world was beige, grit-filled, and bound by the hum of heavy machinery. The air in the Stockholm office landscape was thick with the monotony of glowing terminal screens and the endless rhythm of typewriters. It was a world where technology didn’t just serve us, it began to define the limits of our human freedom.
Walking through those corridors felt like wading through static. The smell was a mix of ozone from the mainframe and cold, stale coffee. This is the scene that opens the video for Forget Technology. We wanted to capture that specific kind of corporate claustrophobia where every fluorescent light flickers in a minor key. It’s the “before” state of our entire creative philosophy, the dull suit and the downward gaze.

A Leap into the Neon Sun
The escape begins with a sudden interruption of the grey. Two tickets from FUTURO TOURS, shimmering with a colorful spectrum of hope, act as a physical gateway to another reality. As the grainy VHS-effect of the city fades, the story shifts violently to the Canary Islands. The transition is a sensory shock: from the obsidian grey of a Swedish winter to the explosive saturated colors and sunset shades of a sun-drenched coastline.
This is a cultural report on the necessity of breaking free. We see the protagonist shed his corporate skin and transform. One moment he is finding his strength in a raw, rhythmic boxing session on the beach. The next, he is chasing the horizon on a classic Vespa along the coastal roads. The journey culminates with Futuro themselves on stage, performing under lights that pulse like a digital heart against the Atlantic breeze.
By choosing to break away from the terminals and the beige walls, the narrative is reclaimed through movement and light. The Forget Technology video is an archived dream reactivated for a world in 2026 that has forgotten how to breathe without a screen.
